What the hell? If I have to sit around and watch guys kill mice in shelters, I'll happily just pitch my tent elsewhere, after I let you know what I think about it. I own a Glock and believe in self defense but this is ridiculous. -

You may change your mind after a few mice run across your face while you're trying to sleep or chew holes in your gear! You'll probably be happier doing like we did and tent most of the time. -

Now what the...saw these at Cow Camp Gap Shelter in mid November near Montebello VA. The log noted that that the shelter was overrun to the point that hikers were moving out in the middle of the night after food, gear, and sleeping bags were being invaded. Not sure but maybe a hiker or the maintainer said enough is enough....
