Great spot for AYCE pancakes..whooo boy! I took this from the 'bridge' across the Pearce Pond spillway.

The "bridge" and the pallet walkway up to the camp is one of the most dangerous sections of the whole Trail! :O) Love this section of trail, Pierce Pond lean-to the night before, super pancakes in the morning, and a quick hike down to the Kennebec afterwards.
