I guess I'm missing something. If I use Trailjournals or Postholer people can read my journal. If I use just about anything else people have to search around for it. If I wanted to limit a journal to just friends and family that might make sense so I must not understand what the issue is.
Everything is in Walking Distance

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I'll be posting updates for my friends and family via instagram.
I figure I can upload a picture with a description and a geotag for my location and that should satisfy most of my communicative needs.

Scratch that. I realized it's not easily accessible so I set up www.nickandbruce.blogspot.com

Leaving for Atlanta on April 12th.
Approach Trail the 14th.
AT on north on the 15th.
I'm wordy and rambly - so there will be (and have been) a couple updates leading up to the trip. If you're on tumblr - follow me and I follow back!
Here is mine.

All my crap is on Trail Journals but I'm slowly building a duplicate site on SmugMug which has a great photo spread for those who want just the separate trips with the necessary photos. Plus the captions can hold my usual trail journal text which is nice so I have the option of either looking just at the fotogs or reading the whole trip report. Problem is, it's taking me a while to load up the trip reports as I'm only on Trip 48 or something out of 137.
Thanks for this!
