Is the water source still dry here?
Kay Wood Lean to is one of the finest I've stayed at. Great fire pit on top of a little cliff, light on the bugs and a great water source.
was at the shelter last week. Plenty of water in the creek.,........ actually... plenty of water everywhere !
Cheers,
Kaptain

A Dalton AT Community member, Margaret Cahill has completed a half hour video biography of Kay, focusing mostly on her contribution to the Trail. She was quite a remarkable person. At our "premiere" showing in Dalton, we had several folks from Kay's extended family and the "Bobbsey Bums" she met on her thru hike in the 90's.
