I saw him at Hurd Brook Lean-to in ME. He had just entered the 100 Mile Wilderness walking south. He flipped from Rangely...I think. I guess it was maybe 6 days ago when I saw him. He was doing fine. I'm impressed by the way he's hung in there with his walk this year...he was having trouble when I first met him way down in TN, or maybe it was VA.

He actually flipped from Grafton Notch, ME. Should get back there this week, I think, and is then headed to PA to finish up an 89 mile section that he missed. He's an inspiring hiker and great friend, and nothing's going to stop him at this point.

yeah, i talked to K1 last week, and he'd summited with him. he was on his way back to finish up the parts he'd missed.
