    Default I'm off!

    I leave in about an hour for Denver. Will fly to Atlanta tomorrow and begin my Thru-hike early Wednesday morning. Looking forward to hiking with many of you.

    Came into Hot Springs yesterday. Taking a zero today. Everything is going good. Looking forward to hitting the trail early tomorrow.

    Making good progress man ! Getting to Harpers before the 4th of July puts you in good shape for the second half of the hike. If nothing else, you now have Virginia behind you.

    Default Had a great experience

    Just a quick post to let a few people that had been following my progress know that I got off trail quite some time ago (3 Aug). Made it to Rutland, VA.

    Had a great experience and am looking forward to finishing next summer.

    I consider this a successful unsuccessful thru-hike attempt as I learned a lot about long-distance hiking and about myself. Congratulations to those that have completed their thru-hike and continued luck to those that are still out there.
