Does any one know when zpacks stoped using Dyneema rip stop on tha arc haul.
What do you mean?
The Blast is DCF hybrid
The Haul is Dyneema gridstop

It is 4.85 oz/sqyd 210 denier Gridstop Fabric. Not Dyneema.
Maybe it’s the same. But on zpacks website they do not call it Dyneema.
The ArcHaul has never been made out of "Dyneema ripstop fabric" as you call it.
I did not call it that that is how it showed on zpacks web site. Dyneema was the manufacturer of the fabric.
The Arc Blast is our Go-To backpack with the features a long distance ultralight backpacker needs. It is built from tough but ultralight Dyneema Composite Fabric.
I don't know the answer, but if you send a message here, I am sure that they would answer your question:

The Arc Haul material is nylon woven with "dyneema grid" (Gridstop, the white threads being dyneema) and then PU coated to waterproof (until the PU wears off, at least).
You might be confusing it with the DCF material used for the Arc Blast and Nero.
I wish they would (they don't, and won't... some have inquired) make an Arc Blast (or smaller 45 liter version) from Dyneema Gridstop.

It’s not Dyneema Rip stop any longer. They call 4.85 oz/sqyd 210 denier Gridstop Fabric. I’m going to try email zpacks.
I know the difference between dcf and the grid stop.
It was called Dyneema gridstop x at one time.
Well your best bet would be to talk to Zpacks directly and then let us know what you find.
I bet you they changed the name cause people couldn't tell the difference between the blast and haul..
Probably too many emails along the lines of... So they're both that cuben fiber stuff?
Let us know please. Zpacks is very responsive and helpful in my experience.
I'm just mad they stopped selling material.

Call it what you (or they) want, the white dyneema fibers make the fabric a ripstop material.
I have 2 Arc Blasts (old style), a custom Zero (almost identical to the Nero) and and Arc Haul and the materials have not changed.
