Beautiful area in the Tyringham Valley. I climbed the Cobbles with my wife in '05, but there were very limited views.

This photo was taken in '05 - the 3rd week in April. When I planned this hike, I fully expected cold rain. Instead, I had 3 days of warm sunshine. Atop Race Mountain, summerlike haze deterred the views. And it was neat seeing chunks of snow at Lake Buel and ice in Sages Ravine with 80 degree temps.
