Hokey Pokey (known to WhiteBlazers as Hikerhead) poses by a cairn near Mt. Clay with the North Presidentials in the background (Sept. 2006). You couldn't ask for a nicer day to be above treeline.

This is also known as undercast (as opposed to overcast skies), and is apparently quite common in the Fall due to temperature inversions. I love seeing the peaks of mountains poking through the undercast like islands in a white sea.
