It's one thing to approach a steep drop-off, it's another to balance yourself over the edge, and yet another to take a photo that's in focus. I get the heebie-jeebies just thinking about what this would have felt like if I was in your position! When I climbed Half Dome, the best I could do was crawl to the side on my stomach and look over the edge.
