June '05. Logging continues in earnest on the southern boundry of Baxter State Park adjacent to the Appalachian Trail Corridor. That's a blue Katahdin at the end of the road.

    So much for the idea of a 100 mile "wilderness." A stunningly beautiful area, but hardly wilderness.
