For northbounders, north Methodist Hill the A.T. levels out and contines along the west slope of Big Pine Flat Ridge, and then intersects a second log logging road approximately 0.1 mile before crossing Furnace Hollow Road (also called Middle Ridge Road). This is a view from the A.T. looking east at the second old logging road crossing. SoBo 1099.6 NoBo 1079.5.
