That valley below the ridge of Mollie's Ridge/ Russell Field & Spence Field is one of my favorite areas to hike in the Smokies...Cade's Cove is a gem. Most see it from the window of a moving car as they drive the loop road but this area is best seen on foot and well worth the trip.
