North of Old Town Road for approximately 0.5 mile the A.T. makes a steep ascent of Rocky Ridge from approximately 730 feet elevation to almost 1200 feet elevation. Approximately 0.2 mile north of the Old Town Road crossing, the A.T. intersects an unidentified old trail. This is a view of the A.T. looking north at the trail crossing. SoBo 1074.3 NoBo 1104.8
