I used to really like to hike with my Ipod but when you do you can't hear rattlesnakes warning you not to step on them and you can't hear bears huffing their hellos to you.
Bears can make some pretty weird sounds.

Yeah, I hike with mine .. but only turn it on when i'm on old road trails or in areas i'm not concerned of the mentioned above ... Otherwise, i just listen to tunes at night when the crickets get alittle outta control ...
