Description for Heading to the north end of the Long Trail

Everyone complains about the difficulty in getting to the northern terminus of the Long Trail. I chartered a plane and some guy from the flight school to come pick me up and drop me off at the airport in Newport, VT, about 20 miles from the LT.
Then I employed the pilot to drive me to Journey's End Trail.
Easy? Yes. Inexpensive. Nope.
