North of the Tumbling Run shelters, the A.T. ascends from approximately 1200 feet elevation to approximately 1950 feet elevation at Chimney Rocks on the summit of Buzard Peak in the next 1.3 milles. This is a view of the trail looking north from a location approximately 0.9 mile north of the Tumbling Run shelters. SoBo 1114.9 NoBo 1064.2.
