Man oh man ... I wish we had had that bright clear sunshine on the Sunday morning (Aug 3, 2003) my hiking party was on that rock looking down on the Blood Mountain Shelter. Our view was about 100 yards of cloud and fog. Still, a nice feeling to top out Blood Mountain!

Oct 6th 2003 I hiked up the mountain and arrived at the top just after sunset. It was raining when I started up the mountain but quit during the assent. We had some fantastic views from the top and went all over the shelter and then the rocks above the shelter. We hiked up from Neels Gap. Thanks for the memories by posting this picture.
