The Ottie Cline Powell Memorial near the summit of Bluff Mountain, a few miles north of the Punchbowl Shelter. The memorial is inscribed "This is the exact spot little Ottie Cline Powell's body was found April 5, 1891, after straying from Tower Hill School House Nov. 9, a distance of 7 miles. Age 4 years 11 months." (October 2003)

Nice photo. We had visited the Punchbowl Shelter the night before our climb up Bluff Mountain. We ate lunch on top of Bluff Mountain in sight of this memeorial and while there 2 local hikers joined us. They said Little Ottie has been "seen" at Punchbowl Shelter by different people on several occasions.
