Only saw this shelter once, on a dark rainy evening when it was crowded to over-flowing (including the tent sites) by an excessively large Boy Scout troop or two, hogging it all to themselves without remorse. I say "excessively large" because trail signs at the trailhead nearby said to limit group size to 10. Yeah, right! My hiking partner and I continued hiking up the mountain, in the dark, and cowboy camped in the wind and clouds.
