I got the red set of swiss poles from dicks sporting goods myself, i'll tell you what ... i've also put about 100-150 miles on mine and they still hold up very well ... they might be heavier than leki or black diamond ... but i'll say this ... they've HELD my 225+ lbs when needed and never bent,broke or needed repairs ... for $20 each ... I'd say their worth it .... gram weenies can keep their leki's. =P
