Anyone know where this sign is located? All I know is that it's somewhere south of Bryant Ridge Shelter.

I looked back at my picture of that sign from 1999. I wrote "near Bear Wallow Gap, VA". Back then you could just make out "...AN TRAIL".

Yeah, from looking at my journal and the date/time of the pic, it was somewhere in that area.

In my notes I have it just north of the Buchanan Trail on Cove Mt. That would make it about 3 miles south of Bryant Ridge Shelter and 2 miles north of Cove Mt Shelter. -TOF
