frozen flies - never seen anything like this before, there were hundreds of them at Roan High Knob Shelter, TN, 12/11/10.

    Those have got to be bees, at least the ones with stripes on the thorax. I've never heard of such a thing.

    hmmm, now that you mention it, Kerosene, maybe they are bees . . . I saw a few more on Sat over at Double Springs Shelter . . . most peculiar . . .
