A. T. Ascent To Annapoolis Rock, Md, 05/23/09

For northbounders, the 2.2 mile stretch of the A.T. from the I-70 Footbridge parking lot to Annapolis Rock is the most heavily traveled section of the trail in Maryland. Hikers, daytrippers, and families are frequent on the 500 foot ascent, but the trail is wide and well shaded.
