This signpost is located at Long Creek Falls in Georgia (4.9 miles north of Springer Mountain) and is where the Benton MacKaye/Duncan Ridge Trail departs the AT. The Duncan Ridge Trail rejoins the AT at Slaughter Gap and the two trails form the 55 mile Georgia Loop Trail.
