Description for Fox at Siler's Bald Shelter

This fox came prancing up toward the shelter in the middle of the day. I chased it away, fearing that it might be rabid. It was actually seen in the shelter during the night. This was in 2003. Just curious if anyone else has had similar encounters at this shelter.

Not at that shelter...But I did hear a funny story of fox nibbled someones finger over Flint Mtn shelter
