For northbounders, approximately 1.2. miles north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-76, in Pennsylvania's Cumberland Valley, the A.T. crosses Carlisle Pike, also referred to as Harrisburg Pike, U.S. Route 11, via a concrete foot bridge. This is a view from the trail looking west toward U.S. Route 11. Blue Mountain can be seen in the distance.
