Approximately 1.4 miles north of the Quarry Gap Shelter, the A.T. tops Big Pine Flat Ridge and then crosses and merges with Ridge Road for approximately 0.1 mile to the east and the Sandy Sod Junction, which is the intersection of Ridge Road, Stillhouse Road, and an unidentified gated road. This is a view from the A.T. looking west on the Ridge Road crossing. SoBo 1102.2 NoBo 1076.9.
