Some things never change, although the sun is out in this picture. I stayed here in 1975 walking north by myself from US-20 to Gorham, but had to get off at Manchester Center due to a pulled Achilles. My brother and I stayed here on the last night of our SOBO Long Trail thru-hike in August 1979. We left at dawn and almost ran down the hill to Williamstown because we didn't know what time the bus came.
