Description by Irish Eddy
Approximately 0.4 mile north of the intersection of Bernheisel Bridge Road and Country Club Club Road in Pennsylvania's Cumberland Valley, the A.T. runs parallel to the east bank of Conodoguinet Creek. Conodoguinet Creek is a 104 mile tributary of the Susquehanna River. The name is Native American and means A Long Way With Many Bends. While the creek actually flows west to east, it meanders north and south across the Cumberland Valley. This is a view of Conodoguinet Creek looking west from the trail at a location approximately 0.4 north of the intersection of Bernheisel Bridge Road and Country Club Road.
