Narrow Gauge Railway Bed Near Boiling Springs, PA, 10/06/12

Approximately 1.0 mile north of Center Point Knob, the A.T. merges with the remnants of a narrow gauge railway that had been constructed in the 1800s to mine iron ore for the Carilisle Furnace, which can still be seen in Boilings Springs, Pennsylvania.
