Damaged A. T. Marker, Rocky Mountain, P A, 07/03/10

Approximately 1.5 miles north of the Rocky Mountain Shelter, Hooligan and I came upon this damaged A.T. marker. I think it was trying to tell me that there are alternate routes for the trail. and the mileage for both the "new" and "old" trail routes, but I am not certain. A topographical map I consulted does show some deviations between GPS plotted A.T. routes and printed A.T. routes at this location. SoBo 1107.7 NoBo 1071.4.
