Ironmaster's Mansion At Pine Grove State Park, PA, 11/25/11

After entering Pine Grove Furnace State Park on Bendersville Road, the A.T. passes in front of the Ironmaster's Mansion. This is a view of the mansion from the A.T. in Pine Grove Furnace State Park. The Ironmaster's mansion can be seen to the west of the trail. The Ironmaster's Mansion was built in 1829, and was recently reopened in May 2011 after a year of renovations. It serves as a hostel for hikers, an educational facility with meeting rooms, and a reception center. SoBo 1086.3 NoBo 1092.8.
