I crossed it one time last year and it was up to my belly button. I barely made it across and it was one of the scariest things I've ever done. My hiking stick was in my left hand and my dog's collar was in the other . . . the dog slammed against my right leg with the current . . . phew, nearly swept away! Here to talk about it though.
