Garnet Lake - WOW! Photo taken August 15 on day #4 of hike.
The lake is up around 10,000' - and the peaks are close to 13,000'!! This is one of perhaps a dozen gorgeous lakes I passed on this day. Most of them are filled with hungry trout.

Great pics of the JMT, MOWGLI. The JMT is on my "list of trails" to complete before I leave this world. What a difference in hiking compared to the AT,,,,, can't wait!!! Thanks again for sharing! -
