I met Crumbsnatcher at Poplar Ridge lean-to in Maine. He was hiking in sandals that were duct taped to his socks. Great guy. Knows how to Yogi.

Hey Crumbsnatcher, how\'s it going? The last I saw you was right outside of Damascus Virginia. I was sick due to a development of gangrene in the left foot. I had to get off the trail, get surgery, and rest for a good month or so. Then I got back on in early july in Damascus, and finished my section from Hot Springs, NC, to NYC via the New York Long Path. Hope to hear from ya.

Anytime I see an ole friends picture I have to rate it a 10. I babysat bear his dog while crumb finished the trail in 04. Evidently Bear twisted his paw in CT on a bog bridge and it took her a long time to heal. She was babysat in CT by a really sweet angel of a woman than I picked her up and had her till Crumb finished the trail. It was almost like having my own dog. Send crumb my regaurds if you ever talk to him.
