This trail,Middle Spring Ridge tr, starts at HorseCreek campground and goes up to meet the AT @ "The Ball Ground" also the peak on USGS maps called "Big Butt".About 1.5 miles before you can hang a left turn and head into the Rocky Fork area.It recieves no maintenance from any group or club.It was almost impassable w/pack and the chainsaw work makes this trail the shortest route to these areas from HorseCreek area.The trailhead is past the campground,a little ways up HorseCreek ORV road then take the foot bridge on the left.Just past the cabin is Turkey Pen cove trail.Take a left turn 50 yards beyond here or you will stay on Squibb Cr Tr which dead ends at the falls.If you want full directions PM me.
