Amazing - how time and good people change your life.... While hiking in Ridley Creek State park I came upon yet another person who questioned what I was told by the SPCA and he pointed to his almost identical dog and said Flat "hair" Springer.... Turned out he was right, Rugby is a Flat Coated Springer... I researched it again and wow I got what may be a pure breed from the pound... but the bad news is Rugby won't live long or prosper as he is what appears to be is five and most don't live past 7-8 years.
