For northbounders, shortly after entering South Mountain State Park, MD, the A.T. crosses a power line. The vegetation is pretty heavy and there isn't much of a view. This is a view from the A.T. at the power line crossing looking east. SoBo 1142.1. NoBo 1036.2.
