I've section-hiked all the way to High Point...
I start each year (2 seek section-hike) where i got off trail previous year...
we were hoping to make it to CT...but i had foot probs...

Sorry to hear about the foot problems. I always find it interesting how everything works fine for a series of hikes, and then something weird happens that forces you to change your plans.
I did DWG to Unionville as my very first section hike in April 1973, which of course started me off doing sections in no particular order, unlike your disciplined NOBO approach. I'm only able to get out for a week a year, so we might actually finish up about the same time atop Katahdin, circa 2015 it's looking like for me.
