I also saw these "shelter deer" at Double Spring. They would not leave. -

When we were there, they dug up a tortilla that some other hiker had left behind; it abandoned the tortilla and we went and grabbed it so no other animals would be attracted, but it was a sad deer when it came back looking for it a couple minutes later!
