Caper Spring .2 mi south of 10 Mile River Lean-to in CT right next to the AT. This water is cold and much purer that the water from the 10 Mile River, Housatonic River or the rusty old pump at the Ten Mile River Campsite .1 mi south of the Lean-to. During very dry times the spring is only a trickle.
