Description by Irish Eddy
For northbounders in Pennsylvania's Cumberland Valley, and for 1.2 miles between Trindle Road, PA Rte. 641, and Ridge Road, the A.T. traverses three corn fields separated by very narrow wood lines, skirts the western edge of a large soybean field, and then crosses an open area of scrub brush before entering a wooded area bordering Ridge Road. This is a view of the trail looking south toward the soybean field from a location approximately 0.8 mile north of the Trindle Road, PA Rte. 641, crossing.
