Shiny leaves, smooth stems, growing as a small shrub? That\'s poison oak. It\'ll turn red in the fall. Sometimes it \"vines\" it\'s way up trees.

Thanks TJ, i touched it and nothing happened, dont get ivy either but was thinking maybe there were different in regard to allergic potential

I think it is poison oak. Check it for white berries in late summer and fall, if you can.
