"Green" Lawn mowers

Nice to see the Smokies adopting "green" methods of groundskeeping. These new units don't require fossil fuels, have low emissions and spread organic fertilizer as they mow. The mowers pictured here are hard at work mowing the lawn in front of the ranger building in Cataloochee.
The introduction of these mowers seems to be going well enough that it is rumored that soon some of the radio collars will be removed and they will be free to mow at will.
