My beautiful wife and I on Mt. Washington, September 11th 2010. There were American Flags on all 48 4,000 footers in NH, from 12-2pm.

what a gorgeous day to be on top of mount washington. when i was there, i was greeted with sideways rain and 50 mph wind gusts. the 6 miles from the summit to madison spring hut were the longest 6 miles of my life
