When it first happened, you bet I did. I also had to spend a very cold night just below the treeline on Katahdin, freezing my butt off, trying to sleep on a rock. Crazy hike.

Looks like my ankle did this spring. I bet it was solid black in a day or two. Was it broken on torn ligements?
