We didn't see any hunters on our section hike from Springer to Neels Gap but these warning signs were posted at each road crossing.

Since that accident in Georgia last year, I now wear an orange baseball cap during hunting season. I think us hikers should do all we can to prevent an accident.

I agree with Youngblood and I also wear a blaze orange baseball hat while hiking during hunting season.
