I think it was 2 million degrees when I went through here. And 200% humidity. Beautiful place though. This was one of my favorite places on the entire AT. This and the rest of the Cumberland Valley beyond Boiling Springs. Hedgerows filled with fragrant honeysuckle, and mulberry trees filled with ripe fruit and birds.

Hey, this is 1,000% better than the 20 miles of road walking you used to have to do through Cumberland Gap. My future wife and I went through SOBO on a sunny June day in 1979 trying not to get any blisters.

What type of bird \"dive bombed\" me in this field? A Mockingbird, maybe?
