It's always interesting to see views from sections that I covered in the fog. I was hiking NOBO up The Moose in early evening September 2006, just after a T-storm passed over. It was misting and the clouds were moving from the west at 40 mph, totally obscuring the summit.
We did get perfect weather atop Franconia Ridge and the Presidentials, which more than made up for one missed summit!
